|
|
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh
This might not work for some people but its worth to give it a try.
Please do the following optimization steps to ensure a high upload speed in Bitcomet :
1)Go to options
2)Preferences
3)Under Advanced click on IP Rules
4)Then increase the maximum sessions per upload to something between 500 to 1000 (depending on your connection speed). That will shoot your upload speed high up Insha'allah. You can try with smaller or larger values till you reach optimum performance.
Please give feedback whether it worked for you or not.

Wa alikumus salaam wa rhamatuhallahi wa barakatuh,
With all due respect, this is not going do anything. I do not use Bit Comet and never will. I have tried it before and in my opinion it is a very poor bit torrent client. آµtorrent is much better and you can get high upload speeds very easy, and it uses very little system resources. The main thing in any bit torrent client is to find your upload speed and set a limit of 90% max in the section for upload speed. You can increase that number a little for when you are not downloading. Lets say your upload speed is 40 Kbps. Use 36 for your max upload speed while downloading, and 38 for when you are not downloading. You can change all the settings you want, but it will make no difference. Your upload speed is capped by your ISP and there is nothing that will increase that unless you get a higher upload speed package. If you set your upload speed at 0 which is unlimited, this will choke your downloads and web surfing and everything else with the web.
Go to this site
http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest
Make sure you are not uploading or downloading anything Run the test a couple times to make sure you get an accurate result. Then use 90% for your max upload speed.
Insha'Allah this may help you all out. I use this method and I have downloaded torrents at over 500 Kbps. This of course is from having a lot of seeders. I have a 7MB down and 1 MB up connection Masha'Allah. Please feel free to post back your results.

Well, this did work for me and also has worked for many other people. Many popular torrents sites has recommended BitComet users to do this. For the majority of people this has worked, there are only a few people that this has'nt worked for, its either because they haven't followed the instructions properly or there is a problem with their ISP.

Wa alikumus salaam wa rhamatuhallahi wa barakatuh,
You seem to be missing the point. You can not get more upload speed then your ISP gives you. It is as simple as that. Please prove me otherwise. Bit Comet is not set up properly, that is why you have to change the settings.
I really need to understand how you can get more upload speed then your ISP gives you, without hacking

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh
Brother Ahmed 66 your right in saying that you cannot get more upload speed than what your ISP gives you, but many computers uses this speed for other processes and tasks, you do not get the full upload speed. By changing the settings you get the full speed that your ISP has provided.
I Hope you have understood what I'm trying to say.
Jazakallahu Khairan

Wa alikumus salaam wa rhamatuhallahi wa barakatuh,
Yes understand what you mean now perfectly. The only thing I do not like about Bit Comet is there is a new window for every upload or download. I like آµtorrent because I have over 200 torrents in it, and I can easily see what needs a seed, and it does not slow down the computer on a reboot or anything else. I can get my full upload speed from it also, which is very nice Alhamdulillah.
Keep up the good work here.
Jazak Allah Kharain,
Ahmed

AA,
I have used BitCommet before and I liked it, but then I started to notice that it was slowing down, so I found a program called Start Bitspirit and I have noticed it was alot faster, it is worth the try.
AA,
